Feature Set:  

TurboBackup can backup email messages and address books, and you can set encryption and password protection on your backups. The program also offers variations on the type of backup you may perform. For example, you can:

• Full backup to the same location/hard drive
• Full backup to a different location
• Incremental backup (based on the time stamp) to a new location
• Incremental backup (based on the archive bit) to a new location
• Daily backup to new location

Most people won't need all this variety, but it will come in handy if, for example, you have a daily backup scheduled that normally goes to a hard drive, but you want today's backup on DVD-R instead, so you can use it on another computer. You can change the backup destination easily without changing your other settings.

TurboBackup offers full, differential and incremental backups. You can also back up your emails from a variety of email services. You can even backup to a remote FTP location, including the online backup FileStream RAID server. You can also compare the backup to the original to check for quality immediately after, or even offline at a later time.

Ease of Use:  

We had no problems or errors during TurboBackup installation.

TurboBackup software is fairly user friendly for data backup software. The completely new interface solves several of the usability issues we had on earlier reviews and makes TurboBackup much easier to use.

TurboBackup backed up and restored everything as we intended, without errors.

Help/Documentation:  

The help documentation is exceptional. TurboBackup's help includes an index, a search engine and a first-rate quick guide with feature overviews, step-by-step instructions and mini screenshots to show you each step of the backup and restore process. We recommend going through the help files before using TurboBackup by FileStream. We didn't have any questions after spending time in the comprehensive quick guide.

TurboBackup by FileStream is a good data backup program. The backup process is easy and simply works the way it was intended to. Additional features and compatibility make TurboBackup a good option, making the process of backing up your information easy so you don't have to worry about losing your files and not being able to recover them.
