The software includes features for full and partial backups and it’s all done with the click of a single button. This data backup software stands out from its competition because it is so simple to use and has all the necessary features. You’re sure to love this outstanding program.

Feature Set:

NovaBACKUP comes with everything you can think of in terms of data backup and restoration. You can perform full, incremental and differential backups. When you're setting up a backup job, you can backup individual files and folders, files-in-use, your entire system, network location, address books, favorites, registry keys and individual emails. Backing up your system is as easy as clicking one button. When you're done, you can export your backup to your hard drive, removable media, FTP locations and tape. Pretty much there's nothing you can't do with this program.

This software has a large selection of features that help make it such an excellent program. It is one of the only applications that can make full disk imaging copies for complete system backup and quick availability. The program also has local and off-site backup so all data is available anywhere. Also, the software has virus protection of the backups and the updates for this feature are free. You can see job status reports via email to stay up to date with all the changes that are occurring on the backup. You’ll know immediately of any problems or when the upload is finished.

This data backup software also has media backup options. You can use this application to protect music, files and videos. The application has a navigational button labeled, “Import Media” that will guide you through the effortless process.

Ease of Use:

We had no problems figuring out how to use this program. Everything involved with NovaBACKUP was pretty cut and dry. The user interface made switching from one task to another a seamless process and even the simplest function was explained in elaborate detail. We preferred this approach because backing up your data can be tricky at times. It's a complicated, but important, thing all of us computer owners must do sooner or later. It's better to choose a program that eases the pain and agony of having to do something that has the potential to be arduous than one that only maximizes the damage.

The application utilizes simple pop-up dialogues to help you maneuver your way through the software. The software will help you along your way through saving all your data with documentations for each step of the process. We loved how intuitive the process was and all the guides along the way to make the process that much simpler.

The NovaBACKUP software has a few navigational buttons on the main page. You can even use the “Backup Wizard” which will easily walk you through each step of the process. There are also guided restore, copy and disaster recovery “Wizards.” Familiarizing yourself with the program becomes a breeze because the tutorials are all-encompassing and even a computer novice should be able to understand the prompts that appear to help you protect your data.

Backup/Restore:

We were pleased with the backup and restore capabilities of NovaBACKUP. It completed both tasks better than all of its counterparts. When it comes to this program, we had a hard time seeing it as anything other than the absolute best data backup software available. The backup and restore process was fast, easy-to-do and the support options made the process that much better.

Help/Documentation:

The ease of use of NovaBACKUP helps alleviate a lot of potential problems, but there are bound to be issues that pop up every so often. You can contact NovaStor through email, a contact form on their website or their live chat support system. They have webinars, a knowledgebase and a user forum. NovaStor has all the bases covered and that's why they're an excellent company to deal with.

When we began a live chat session with the customer service representatives, we were connected immediately and all our questions concerning the software were handled quickly and expertly. We also sent an email to the customer support address that was answered within an hour. Our experience with the manufacturer was exceptional.
